Secure Dog Walking Field, Baulking

Field Rules

Please ensure that you read and fully understand our field rules below before making a booking. These rules may be updated from time to time, so please check the latest version before each booking to ensure you are familiar with any changes.

  1. Use of the field is by appointment/booking only.
  2. Online bookings can be made for up to 6 dogs per session. Please contact us regarding possible larger bookings.
  3. Only the number of dogs booked on the system may enter the field. Dogs not included in the booking are not permitted.
  4. A maximum of 2 cars permitted per booking.
  5. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their dog(s) is/are fully vaccinated, up to date with worming and flea/tick treatments, and in generally good health. Please do not bring your dog if it is showing signs of any illness.
  6. XL Bully dogs must have a valid Certificate of Exemption and comply with all relevant legal requirements. They may only use the field with dogs from the same household, and there must be a ratio of one person per dog. After driving into the field, you must close and lock the gate from the inside using the padlock provided. Before unloading your dog, please check that the fencing around the field is secure and undamaged. Once you are satisfied the field is secure, you may unload your dog off-lead and unmuzzled. However, if your dog makes any attempt to escape or breach the fencing, you must immediately put the lead and muzzle back on as a precaution.
  7. Please arrive at your booked session time, not before, as others may still be using the field. Bookings are for 1-hour time slots, which allows for 50 minutes walking / play time and then 10 minutes to clear and exit the site before the next hourly slot begins.
  8. Should you arrive late for the start of your session, you must still exit on time.
  9. At the time of your session, please proceed down the track from the road, towards the secure dog field entrance. Assuming the dog field is vacant, proceed through the padlocked gate (code will be on your booking confirmation) into the gravel parking area.
  10. Please do not enter the secure parking area until the previous user has exited the site. There is sufficient space outside the secure field gate entrance to wait on the track. (Please do get in contact with us if users are not exiting within their allotted time.)
  11. All vehicles must be parked within the secure gated area.
  12. All dogs to remain in vehicles until the gates are safely closed behind you.
  13. Please be sure to always secure the gate properly behind you before letting your dog out of the car.
  14. Although every effort will be made to check the field, fences and gates daily, please do notify us immediately of any breaches or failures. Please do make sure the field area is safe and secure to your satisfaction before allowing your dog(s) to run freely.
  15. Please do not allow your dog(s) to dig holes. Please try and fill these in if this should happen.
  16. Please try and keep nuisance noise / barking to a minimum.
  17. Please be aware that there is a bridleway, adjacent to the fence, running along the left-hand side of the secure area. We ask that you do not allow your dog(s) to bark excessively at, or chase, horses using the bridleway to avoid causing distress to riders and their horses.
  18. Do not leave your dog(s) unattended.
  19. All users must clear up any dog mess and general waste before leaving the site. Separate bins are provided. Please bring your own poo bags.
  20. Please be sure to close and lock the gate upon your exit.
  21. The use of our dog field is at your own risk.
  22. We do have public liability insurance. However, as the dog field operator, we do not accept any liability for illness, death or injury, loss or damages and other claims incurred by you or anyone with you, or your property, including your dogs, during the use of the area. You are strongly advised to insure your pet for all eventualities.
  23. If you are using the dog field for business purposes, we do not accept responsibility for any business losses which you may incur. You are offered the same legal protection as domestic or private users only.
  24. Your vehicle is parked at your own risk.
  25. Please be aware that the ground may be muddy, slippery and/or uneven, etc, so please wear appropriate footwear and take care.
